Grilled Chops

After a full day of yard work, grilling was the way to go. We threw together a quick mix of spices to season these thick bone-in pork chops. It had an amazing flavor that we will revisit again.

Dry seasoning mix:

  • garlic salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • onion powder
  • smoked paprika
  • ground mustard

Wet marinade:

  • olive oil
  • minced garlic
  • chopped red onion


Mix up the dry seasonings in a stainless steel bowl. In a separate bowl or ziplock bag, put the ingredients for the wet marinade and add the chops. Once the pork chops are most form the wet marinade, mix in the dry seasonings and place in the fridge for at least a half hour. Grill and enjoy.
